PDII LIPI welcomed Indian Delegation

(Jakarta, 19 February 2013 - Public Relations LIPI). Center for Documentation and Scientific Information (PDII)-LIPI represented by PDII Director, Ms. Sri Hartinah and her team members welcomed the visit of the Indian delegation on ASEAN-India S&T Digital Library, Friday (7/2) at PDII building, Jakarta. The program was aimed for discussion, monitoring and evaluation of ASEAN India S&T Digital Library dan visited laboratory of ASEAN India S&T Digital Library at PDII building (Room for Literature Database).

The Indian Delegation came from Indian Scientific Team represented by Dr. Abishek Vaish (Ass. Prof. IIIT Allahabad Project Partner), Prof. Dr. Balakrishan (Professor, IISc, Bangalore, Expert S&T Digital Library), Mr. Nikhilesh Giri (ASEAN First Secretary, Embassy of India). A representative from Jakarta ASEAN Secretariat, Dr. Emir Krishna also attended the meeting.

Ms. Sri Hartinah expected that contribution of PDII through collaboration and partnership in developing Digital Library can be increased at international level.
