LIPI CENTER FOR INNOVATION BUILDING WAS INAGURATED

LIPI Center For Innovation Building was Inagurated Jumat, 15 Februari 2013 (Jakarta, 15 February 2013 - Public Relations LIPI). Center for Innovation Building was inagurated by Chairman of LIPI, Prof. Dr. Lukman Hakim on February 13, 2013 at Cibinong Science Center, Cibinong, Bogor attended by LIPI officials , Cibinong municipality, and LIPI stakeholders. The Center located in 9.900 meters square or 6 hectares with the development budget of 33 billion rupiahs from National Development Budget with the capacity for 20 tenants. The existence of infrastructure and incubation technological programs will help develop Small-Medium Enterpreneuships (SMEs) through programs and facilities of technological incubators. Risks for SMEs will be reduced through technical and non-technical services and other intermediation services provided by LIPI. Center for innovation have resulted 10 LIPI technologies developed into prototype, 17 pre-incubation steps and 15 technologies through incubation steps. New technological based -enterpreneurships will be developed in the near future for the domestic needs. Chairman of LIPI believed that Center of Innovation as a technology incubator can accelerate research results to be implemented and lead the market through providing facilities and mentoring new business/ SMEs.
